1. Should not have received any foreign contribution prior to that without the Government’s approval;
2. Should have spent at least Rs.10,00,000/- over the last three years on its aims and objects, excluding administrative expenditure;
3. Is not fictitious or benami;
4. Has not been prosecuted or convicted for indulging in activities aimed at conversion through inducement or force, either directly or indirectly, from one religious faith to another;
5. Has not been prosecuted or convicted for creating communal tension or disharmony in any specified district or any other part of the country;
6. Has not been found guilty of diversion or mis-utilisation of its funds;
7. Is not engaged or likely to engage in propagation of sedition or advocate violent methods to achieve its ends;
8. Is not likely to use the foreign contribution for personal gains or divert it for undesirable purposes;
9. Has not contravened any of the provisions of this Act;
10. Has not been prohibited from accepting foreign contribution;
11. The person being an individual, such individual has neither been convicted under any law for the time being in force nor any prosecution for any offence is pending against him.
12. The person being other than an individual, any of its directors or office bearers has neither been convicted under any law for the time being in force nor any prosecution for any offence is pending against him.

Note: In case if the entity is newly incorporated, then a prior permission application can be made to the Ministry for the purpose of receiving foreign contributions however, here the application must specify the exact activity of the entity, purpose of the entity and the source from where foreign contribution will be received.

1. Self-certified copy of registration certificate/Trust deed of the association;
2. Self-certified copy of relevant pages of Memorandum of Association/ Article of Association showing aim and objects of the association;
3. Copy of PAN of NGO
4. Activity Report indicating details of activities during the last three years;
5. Bank details of NGO including name, address and account number
6. Details of management working in NGO including their name, address, designation, occupation, email id and mobile number.
7. Copies of relevant audited statement of accounts for the past three years (Assets and Liabilities, Receipt and Payment, Income and Expenditure) clearly reflecting expenditure incurred on aims and objects of the association and on administrative expenditure;
8. Copy of 80G and 12A Certificate issued by Income tax department (if held)
9. Any other document (as required)
